Nautical charts produced by the Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS), Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), are protected by copyright. Nautical Data International, Inc. (NDI) is the sole CHS licencee to reproduce and distribute chart information in the form of digital navigation products. NDI has granted sublicences to certain manufacturers to include this information in their products.

As January 5th, 2004, the only manufacturers authorized to include Canadian hydrographic Charts in digital navigation products are those listed in the table below:
